Psychological assessment can provide valuable information for clinical and legal purposes. Assessment components will vary and are selected by the psychologist and based on the referral question(s). As such, the cost and time commitment involved are specific to the client's needs. The psychologist may collect various forms of data for the assessment including, but not limited to norm-referenced psychological tests, clinical and collateral interview information, observational data, and school, legal, medical, and/or behavioral health records.
